Beau Milestone

You won't believe the joy captured in a recent family session I had, celebrating little Beau's very first birthday! It was such a heartwarming experience, and I think I found a new favorite way to document those precious early years—an in-home session that felt personal, cozy, and full of laughter.

We kicked things off in the foyer with a spontaneous dance party. You know, just the family grooving to music they love, with Beau right in the mix, his tiny feet bouncing to the beat. Capturing those candid moments of connection and joy felt like pure magic. The energy was infectious, and you could see everyone getting swept away in the moment.

Next, we headed to the front yard for a game of soccer and tag. I loved how their laughter echoed off the trees, and those little feet running around were the cutest sight. And, of course, no birthday celebration is complete without a cake smash! We wrapped up the session in the studio with Beau digging into his cake. Talk about messy fun!
